Terms of Service

Welcome to LighthouseGG. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Who can use LighthouseGG

You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account. By signing up you confirm that you are 18 or older and that all information you provide is accurate. Accounts found to belong to under-18s will be removed.

2. What LighthouseGG is

LighthouseGG is a platform for making friends around shared hobbies — gaming, anime, cosplay, conventions and similar interests. It is not a dating service.

3. Your conduct

You agree not to post or send content that is illegal, pornographic, gratuitously violent, harassing, hateful or deceptive; not to impersonate others; and not to use the service to spam, scam or harvest data. Uploaded images are automatically screened and may be reviewed by a human moderator. We may remove content, restrict features or suspend accounts that break these rules.

No bots or automated access. You may not access, create an account on, or interact with LighthouseGG using a bot, script or any other automated or non-human means. Every account must be operated by a real person.

No advertising. LighthouseGG does not carry third-party advertising, and you may not use the service to advertise, promote or solicit for any other product, service, business or account.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You grant us the limited licence needed to store, process (including automated moderation) and display your content to other users as part of operating the service.

5. Safety

Use the report and block tools if someone makes you uncomfortable. Be careful about sharing personal information with people you meet online, and take normal precautions if you choose to meet anyone in person.

6. Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from your profile menu. Deletion permanently removes your profile, photos, matches and chat history. Reports you filed about other users are retained (without your account attached) to preserve moderation records.

7. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for user conduct, content posted by users, or interactions that occur on or off the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law.

The Service is operated by an independent developer. While reasonable efforts are made to maintain the Service and respond to reports, support and moderation may not be immediate.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app; continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
